With Frisco's
phenomenal growth, there is a need for additional facilities
to provide a high level of city services. Projects
currently under consideration are a new City Hall, Library,
Heritage Center, Police & Courts Building, and additional
Fire Stations. Now in progress are the new Senior
Center and the Railroad Depot replica. There is also
strong community interest in a sports complex containing
a natatorium.

Dr
Pepper Seven Up Ballpark is the epicenter for the
Frisco Entertainment and Sports Complex which is the
heart of all major Frisco community development projects.
The $300 million complex, located at the northeast
corner of Texas State Highway 121 and the Dallas North
Tollway, is a mixed-use commercial development that
is expected to be comprised of more than 1 million
square feet and attract over 2 million tourists annually.
The
$22 million Dr Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark was voted
“Best New Ballpark in America - 2003” and is home
to the Double-A Texas League Champion, Frisco RoughRiders.
This
incredible baseball stadium is located in the heart
of the Frisco Entertainment and Sports Complex that
will be a state-of-the-art hub for sports, dining,
hospitality and shopping in north Texas. |
